Matiz Gallery is a contemporary art gallery located in Sant Pere, Santa Caterina i la Ribera, in the centre of Barcelona. The gallery focuses on abstract, material and process-based practices, with artists connected to Europe, Latin America and other international contexts.

Founded by Ivonne Parra and Juan Ramirez, Matiz Gallery develops exhibitions, artist presentations and collector-facing projects that connect contemporary art with space, memory, materiality and lived experience. The gallery works with artists whose practices show a coherent visual language, conceptual depth and a strong relationship between process and form.

Alongside its exhibition programme, Matiz Gallery advises private clients, hotels, restaurants, architects and interior designers on the selection and integration of contemporary artworks into interiors. The gallery also offers selected works for acquisition and develops tailored art proposals for residential, hospitality and commercial spaces.

Through BASPcr — Barri de l’Art Sant Pere, Santa Caterina i la Ribera — Matiz Gallery expands its role beyond the traditional exhibition format. BASPcr connects exhibitions with artistic research, intercultural dialogue, territorial activation and public encounters, creating a framework for collaborations between artists, local agents and international cultural networks.
